Dr. Jeffery R. Oka was born and raised in Ogden, Utah.  He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from Weber State University, and his medical degree from the University of Utah.  He completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation from the University of Utah Medical Center.  Dr. Oka has practiced as a physiatrist for over 25 years mostly in the Bountiful area.

In his spare time, he loves to spend time with his wife and children.  He loves gourmet cooking, tending to his yard, and fishing.  He was an avid skier in his younger days.

Dr. Celine Rivera is a board certified physician in Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine with special interests in preventative medicine and wellness.  She earned her Bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan, Masters degree from Wayne State and her Medical degree from Ross University.  Upon graduation she completed her internal medicine residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan.

In her spare time, Dr. Rivera enjoys spending time with her husband, two children and 3 Boston terrier dogs.  She also enjoys skiing, traveling and loves to cook for her family.

Dr. Phelps is board certified in family medicine. He graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Latin American Studies. He then went on to get a Master's in Biomedical Sciences and his medical degree from Chicago Medical School. He finished his internship and residency at Saint Joseph's Regional Medical Center in Indiana in 2014. After residency he and his family moved back to Utah where he joined A practice in Ogden where he practiced for 3 years. During the past couple years he has focused on hospice and nursing home care. He is excited to join Bountiful Internal Medicine to get back in the clinic setting. 

Dr. Phelps has always looked at the whole person and tries to treat the person and not just a disease state or condition. He is committed to forming strong relationships and providing the best care possible. 

His interests are nutrition, cooking, hiking, being outdoors. He has 6 children and spends much of his free time helping them pursue their interests.

Dr. Lisani Estopinan is a board certified physician in Internal and Hospital Medicine. Dr. Estopinan speaks English and Spanish and was born in Venezuela. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Carabobo-School of Medicine in 

Venezuela and her Internal Medicine Degree from Saint Peter's University Hospital associated with Drexel University College of Medicine in New Jersey. Prior to joining the Hospitalist Group at Lakeview Hospital in May 2018, Dr. Estopinan worked as a Hospitalist in Nevada. 

In her spare time, Dr. Estopinan enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters and skiing, riding her bicycle, and hiking. She has been living in Bountiful, Utah since 2018.

Dr. William Draper obtained his medical degree from Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate,
Tennessee. He completed a Family Medicine Residency in Belle Glade, Florida at Lakeside Medical Center.

He was born in Anaheim, California. Before medical school, he graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biophysics and a minor in Chemistry.

His hobbies include canyoneering, boating, rock climbing, annoying his wife with puns or silly dad jokes, and spending time with his wife and daughter.

Dustin Thompson was born and raised in Bountiful, Utah. He is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. He received his Master’s degree from the University of South Alabama in 2020. He received his Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Weber State and has worked at Primary Children’s Hospital for 5 years as a nurse.

Dustin likes playing slow-pitch softball and spending time with his wife and three children outdoors.

Dr. Joshua Oaks was born in Salt Lake City and grew up in Provo, Utah.  He is a graduate of Brigham Young University with a degree in Business Management. He obtained his medical degree from Saint George’s University where he graduated Cum Laude. He subsequently did an Internal Medicine residency at Overlook Medical Center in Summit, New Jersey.  

Dr. Oaks enjoys spending time with his wife and 5 children.  Dr. Oaks joined the practice in July 2018.

Melanie Oliver is a Gerontological Nurse Practitioner and is nationally certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She began her career working as a Certified Nursing Assistant working in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. Melanie received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Weber State University, graduating Cum Laude in 2003.  After working several years in a hospital setting, Melanie went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Utah in 2006. Melanie focused her graduate education on the geriatric and adult population and earned her Graduate Certificate in Gerontology.

Melanie specializes in Internal Medicine treating diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia and other conditions. Melanie not only focuses on preventative care but enjoys working with her patients to develop a plan for treating chronic disease processes.

Melanie is married with four children and takes joy in spending time with them and their many activities. She enjoys camping, hiking, frisbee and spending time outdoors.

Rachel Smith is a board-certified nurse practitioner. She received her master's degree as a family nurse practitioner from the University of South Alabama in 2014 and completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama in 2012. She earned her Associates of Science in Nursing from Weber State University in 2008. Rachel worked as a nurse for five years in the post-anesthesia care unit, new-born intensive care unit, and cardiology. Before her career as a nurse she worked for ten years as a Registered Dental Hygienist in Layton, UT.

After graduating as a nurse practitioner, Rachel moved to the Four Corners area where she practiced in a busy rural Urgent Care clinic. Rachel has recently moved back home to Davis County Utah where she was born and raised. She enjoys spending her free time reading and quilting, but her favorite activity is spending time with her husband and children.

Ryan Davis is a Family Nurse Practitioner and is nationally certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). He obtained his Doctor of Nursing Practice from Weber State University in 2022. He previously received his Associates of Science in Nursing at Snow College and his Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing at Weber State University. He worked as a nurse at Lakeview Hospital for 5 years.

Ryan has always had a passion for geriatrics and started visiting residents of care centers when he was 11 years old. He intended on becoming an engineer, but changed his plans after he took a Certified Nursing Assistant course at Viewmont High School and immediately started working in home health and hospice. He has expanded his passion for caring for the geriatric population to include pediatrics, family medicine, and mental health.

Ryan is married with two children. His hobbies include music, traveling, snowboarding, playing basketball, soccer, and tennis, camping, and photography. He loves doing humanitarian work and has been to Guatemala, Ghana, and Spain. He especially loves playing and going on adventures with his wife and kids. Ryan grew up in Farmington, Utah.

Dr. Ziyi Wang is a board certified physician in Family Medicine.  She did her undergraduate degree at Berkeley before completing medical school at the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine.  Dr. Wang completed her residency at Reading Hospital in Pennsylvania.

Dr. Wang is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.  She has a vested interest in the treatment of mental illness.  Dr. Wang enjoys providing comprehensive care to her patients of all ages. 

In her free time Dr Wang enjoys spending time with her family and friends.  Her and her husband love to travel and enjoy being outdoors hiking, biking, camping and skiing.

Scott Southworth, MD received his doctorate degree in medicine from the University of Utah and completed his residency in internal medicine at the LDS Hospital. In his spare time, Dr. Southworth's interests include art, piano, writing, golf and basketball. He resides in Farmington with his family.

Dr. Val Hansen has been practicing Internal Medicine here in Bountiful for over 30 years!  Dr. Hansen is a Cache Valley native and finished his undergrad degree at Utah State University.  Dr. Hansen went to The University of Utah for Medical School as well as completed his Internal Medicine residency with them.  

Dr Hansen enjoys hiking, skiing, traveling and visiting with his children and grandchildren.  Dr. Hansen is married with 4 kids and 2 dogs.
